Barnstormers Host 2nd Annual Bacon Bowl

DES MOINES - The Iowa Barnstormers are proud to announce their partnership with the Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival for the second consecutive season to bring the 2014 Bacon Bowl on July 19, 2014 at Wells Fargo Arena.
2014 Bacon Bowl festivities will kick off at 4:00 p.m. with the Official Bacon Bowl Tailgate Party, located in the parking lot north of the Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center of downtown Des Moines. The Tailgate Party is scheduled to include food vendors serving everything bacon. Ticket packages start at $25 and include the Bacon Bowl game and Tailgate Party. Admission is free for 2014 Barnstormers Season Ticket Holders.
The Iowa Barnstormers and Iowa Events Center are offering a special ticket package for the 2014 Bacon Bowl. For $70 fans can purchase a ticket to the 2014 Bacon Bowl and Tailgate Party along with a ticket 2015 Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival! The Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival has been scheduled for January 31, 2015 at the Iowa Events Center. A maximum of eight $70 ticket packages may be purchased per account. Limited quantities available, while supplies last!
Doors to Wells Fargo Arena will open at 6:00 p.m. with kickoff set for 7:05 p.m. when the Iowa Barnstormers will host the Pittsburgh Power in a battle for the bacon.
The team to come out on top at the end of the matchup will be presented with the Official Bacon Bowl Trophy.
