DES MOINES - The Iowa Barnstormers have re-signed quarterback Travis Partridge for the 2017 season, Head Coach Dixie Wooten announced today.

Partridge (6-4, 245, Missouri Western) joins the Iowa Barnstormers for his second season with the team and in the Indoor Football League (IFL). Prior to joining the IFL, Partridge was signed to the Minnesota Vikings as a priority free agent in 2014 before ultimately spending the season with the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Partridge joined the Iowa Barnstormers midway through the 2016 season, starting in the final 5 games of the year. Partridge ended his 5 game run completing 99 of 166 passing attempts for 1,135 yards and 17 touchdowns. Partridge also scored 7 rushing touchdowns.

"Getting Travis signed was big for us," said Coach Wooten. "A quarterback with a strong football background and experience playing in the CFL brings a strong mind to the Barnstormers. He has the size, the feet, and the understanding to be a great Quarterback. I'm excited to have him on the roster."

Season Tickets for the Iowa Barnstormers 2017 season are available now! For as low as $80 per seat, fans can enjoy the action from the same great seat location each game. For more information, call the Barnstormers at (515) 633-2255 or log on to www.theiowabarnstormers.com.
