DES MOINES - The Iowa Barnstormers have signed wide receiver Alvin Bailey to the 2022 roster, Head Coach Dave Mogensen announced today.
Bailey (5-11, 180, Youngstown State) joins the Iowa Barnstormers for his first season in the Indoor Football League (IFL). Collegiately, Bailey began his career at the University of Florida where he spent two years with the Gators and appeared in 16 games at both wide receiver and special teams before transferring to Youngstown State University. In two years with the Penguins, Bailey appeared in 26 games appearing in 16 games before transferring to Youngstown State University. In two years with Penguins, Bailey collected 79 receptions for 935 yards and seven touchdowns.
"Alvin is a versatile offensive player," said Head Coach Mogensen. "We expect him to make plays in multiple ways for us this season."
Bailey will enter the Iowa Barnstormers 2022 Training Camp in the spring.
