Barnstormers Add Offensive Lineman

DES MOINES - The Iowa Barnstormers have signed offensive lineman Donell Paster to the 2022 roster, Head Coach Dave Mogensen announced today.
Paster (6-6, 320, Jackson State) joins the Iowa Barnstormers for his for his first season in the Indoor Football League (IFL). Collegiately, Paster played four years at Jackson State University earning his starting slot after his first season as a Tiger. Paster made an impact playing multiple positions along the offensive line during his tenure.
Familiar with the Barnstormers, Paster attended the team's training camp ahead of the canceled 2020 season. Paster gained experience in the indoor game during the 2021 season, appearing in 8 games with the Wyoming Mustangs of the Champions Indoor Football league (CIF).
"Donell fits the mold of guys we are looking for up front, long and athletic," said Head Coach Mogensen. "We are expecting Donell to come in and adjust very well to the IFL game and be a force along our offensive line."
Paster will return to Des Moines to enter the Iowa Barnstormers 2022 Training Camp in the spring.
