DES MOINES - The Iowa Barnstormers have signed wide receiver Dom McNeil to the 2022 roster, Head Coach Dave Mogensen announced today.
McNeil (5-10, 190, Indiana University - Pennsylvania) joins the Iowa Barnstormers for his first season with the Indoor Football League (IFL). Collegiately, McNeil spent four years at Indiana University - Pennsylvania appearing in 46 games and collecting 115 receptions for 2,062 yards and 19 touchdowns. While with the Crimson Hawks, McNeil was also recognized by his team earning the Most Inspirational Award in 2017.
"Dom had a tremendous college career with numerous accolades," said Head Coach Mogensen. "He was receiving a lot of interest from NFL scouts before COVID changed the landscape. He is determined to use a standout 2022 season with us to help him get back on the radar of NFL and CFL scouts."
McNeil will join the Iowa Barnstormers 2022 Training Camp in the spring.
