Stockton Ports News Release
STOCKTON, Calif. -The Stockton Ports will once again be hosting the Dave Henderson Adult Baseball Camp at Banner Island Ballpark. The three-day camp will run from Friday, June 6 through Sunday, June 8, and feature instruction from former Major Leaguers such as Dave Henderson, Greg Cadaret, Mark Parent, and more.
The camp includes four or five nine-inning baseball games, depending on whether or not your team makes it into the championship game, a half-day instructional session (including hitting, fielding and pitching), your own Stockton Ports uniform (including cap, pants and batting practice jersey), lunch each day, full locker room and training room services, and a Saturday night reception.
On-field activities will take place at Banner Island Ballpark. The field is meticulously maintained, and the clubhouse will have a major league feel, with uniforms laundered and hung in lockers each day. Before and after each game, a staff of professional trainers will see that players are taped, iced, and ready to play.
Each evening, campers will have a chance to hang out with Hendu and the pros and learn more about them than they ever did by reading the sports pages.
The cost for the three-day big league experience is just $895, and you must be at least 30 years old to participate. There is no fee if you sign up before May 9. Signups after May 9 incur an additional $75 fee.
To sign up, or for more information, pick up a flyer at Banner Island Ballpark or call (877) 993-7338.
