Bandits Announce Playoff Dates and Prices
(Sioux City, IA - July 5, 2005) Today the Sioux City Bandits of the United Indoor Football Association are pleased to announce our playoff schedule and prices for home playoff games.
The UIF playoffs will start on July 30 with four games. The semi-final round will feature two games on the weekend of August 6, and the Championship Game will be contested on the next weekend, August 13. The eight teams will be seeded 1 through 8, with the four teams with the best records hosting the first weekends games. The Bandits will be hosting a first round game on July 30 against a team to be determined from games that will be played over the final three weeks of the season. Kick-off for playoff games will be 7:05 pm. Sioux City has two regular season games left, on July 9 in Omaha and the last regular season home game with Sioux Falls on July 15.
As for playoff tickets, 2005 Season Ticket holders have the option to get the seats they had during the regular season from July 5 to July 14, they have received a letter on the procedure to get their tickets. After July 14, all seats will be open to the public for the July 30 playoff game. Ticket prices are as follows: Level 1 and 2 seats are $21.00, Level 3 and 4 seats will be $12.00, all End Zone seats except the first four rows are $9.00, and all Balcony seats are $6.00. Playoff ticket prices have been reduced by 10 to 30 % from regular season prices. If the Bandits win the first game and they have a semi-final game, tickets for the next game will be available for purchase for a half hour after the game at the Tyson Events Center Box Office.
This is the second season in a row that the Bandits have qualified for the post season and third time in the history of indoor football in Sioux City that a team has made the playoffs.
