The Oakland Ballers sign RHP Aaron Eden to a contract for the 2024 season.
Eden, who grew up in Los Angeles, was recruited out of high school by San Diego State. He played his first three college seasons for the Aztecs before transferring to San Jose State for the 2022 and 2023 seasons.
In the 2023 season Eden made 13 starts for the Spartans, striking out 31 and walking only 20 in 57.0 innings. He got the win in a Mountain West Title-clinching game over Nevada last May.
Home game times for the inaugural season at Raimondi Park are now released. First pitches on weekday games are scheduled for 6:35 PM and weekends at 1:05 PM. Tickets are now on sale as well as 12-pack undated tickets. Single-game ticket releases will be announced at a later date.
