
Bakersfield Blitz Take on the Everett Hawks

Bakersfield - For the last game of the regular season, the Bakersfield Blitz will take the field against the Everett Hawks on Saturday, July 29. Kick off is set for 7:00 p.m. at Rabobank Arena.
The season series between the Blitz and the Hawks is tied 1-1. In their first meeting, the Blitz brought home a 60-54 victory on Thursday, March 30. On July 8, the Blitz weren't as lucky as they came home defeated, 34-63.
On July 29, it is "Fan Appreciation Night" at the Blitz game. There will be free drawings for a two night cruise to Ensanada, Mexico, a Mini Chopper, 2 season tickets for the 2007 Blitz season, and other various door prizes. George the Giant will be setting another world record with "Most Bricks Broken While Lying on a Bed of Nails" during the half time show.
The Blitz pre-game show and full play-by-play coverage will be held on KERN AM 1410 starting at 6:00 p.m. with host, Puck Whitnack. The game will be broadcasted on Brighthouse Networks on Sunday, July 30 at 7:00 p.m. with play-by-play announcers, Vance Palm and Brian Adams.
The Blitz will battle the Central Valley Coyotes in the first round of playoffs on Friday, August 4 in Fresno. Kick off is set for 8 p.m. at Selland Arena. The Blitz is offering a Blitz Booster Bus trip to the playoff game. For $45, each fan will receive transportation to the game, a game ticket, Bud Light refreshments, Frito Lay Snacks, Little Caesar's pizza, and raffle prizes. Seats are limited.
