Dunedin Blue Jays News Release

DUNEDIN, FL - This Saturday, August 16th, the Dunedin Blue Jays are hosting Back to School Night at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium. The first 400 fans will receive a brand-new Nike drawstring backpack just in time for school to start back up in the Tampa Bay area.

This Saturday also marks the final Junior Jays Saturday of the regular season. All kids in attendance will be able to run the bases after the baseball game, just like their favorite Dunedin Blue Jays players.

This is also the final chance during the regular season for fans to participate in the Jays Win/You Win Saturday night promotion. Throughout the 2014 season, every Saturday D-Jays win has let the fans get a free movie ticket at Cobb Theatres in Clearwater in exchange for their game ticket. Perhaps encouraged by a love for cinema, the D-Jays have produced a strong 9-2 record on Saturdays at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium.

Through the month of August, the D-Jays are teaming up with Platinum Bank to help the Backpack Lady project. Those looking to help can donate a new backpack at the Platinum Bank location at 2100 Main Street in Dunedin. Anyone making a donation will receive a voucher for two (2) free tickets to this Saturday's game.

The D-Jays looks to hit double-digit Saturday home wins when they take on the Brevard County Manatees at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are available online at www.dunedinbluejays.com or by calling 727-733-9302. Also, don't forget the D-Jays are hosting a Florida State League playoff game on Wednesday, September 3rd. Tickets are on sale now.
