First Place Marauders Host Mets August 15-17

Bradenton, Fla. - The Bradenton Marauders will host the St. Lucie Mets (New York Mets) for three straight nights at McKechnie Field starting on Friday, August 15. The games on Friday and Saturday begin at 6:30 p.m. with gates opening at 5:30 p.m. The game on Sunday, August 17 will begin at 5:00 p.m. with gates opening at 4:00 p.m.

Friday, August 15 is the final Free Shirt Friday of 2014. The first 500 fans will receive a "Mystery Shirt" presented by Yuengling. Every Friday home game is also a Happy Hour Friday presented by Pier 22 Restaurant. Between 5:30 and 6:30, 500 free hot dogs will be given away and there will be great drink specials from Kayem and Cheney Brothers.

Saturday, August 16 is Back to School Night. The first 500 children 12 and younger at the game will receive a Marauders backpack presented by Bright House Networks. Employees of the Manatee County School District and the Sarasota County School District can purchase tickets for their entire household for just $1 per ticket.

Sunday, August 17 is the second of three Splash Days this month. All tickets and regular sized Kayem hotdogs are just $1. A 40-foot inflatable slip and slide will be available for fans to ride as many times as many times as they would like at no additional cost. Children 12 and younger can run the bases after the game in the Kids Fun Run presented by Mosaic.

Sunday is also the final Bark in the Park of 2014. Bark Badges cost $2 per dog, with proceeds donated to the Humane Society of Manatee County. Pups will have the opportunity to run the bases after the game. All dogs must be well behaved and properly leashed. Watering stations will be provided. Bark in the Park is presented in partnership with ABC 7.

The McKechnie Field ticket office is open on non-gamedays Tuesday-Friday from 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. On Monday-Friday gamedays the ticket office is open from noon until the conclusion of the game. The ticket office opens two hours before Saturday, Sunday, and morning games.
