BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that defenseman Kyle Bushee has been signed to a professional try-out contract.

Bushee, 27, has spent the majority of this season with the B-Sens' ECHL affiliate Elmira Jackals. He leads all Jackals blueliners in points with 31 (eight goals, 23 assists) in 56 games played this season.

This is the 6-0, 190-pound defenseman's second stint with the B-Sens. Bushee signed a professional try-out contract with Binghamton back on Jan. 31, but appeared in no games before being released on Feb. 5.

He has also appeared in two games with the Norfolk Admirals this season. In total, Bushee has seen action in 14 career American Hockey League games with the Portland Pirates, Manitoba Moose, St. John's IceCaps and Norfolk Admirals.

The B-Sens return to action tonight as they visit the Hershey Bears at 5 p.m. Fans can listen live on "Binghamton's Classic Hits" BIG 107.5 (WBBI-FM) beginning 15 minutes before game time as Grady Whittenburg, the voice of the B-Sens, hosts the Countdown to Faceoff.
