B-Sens Announce Roster Moves

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that they have reassigned defenseman Patrick Coulombe to the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL.

Coulombe, 25, has appeared in eleven American Hockey League games this season with the B-Sens and Milwaukee Admirals, scoring three goals and adding four penalty minutes.

The St. Fabien, Que. native has 12 goals, 22 assists and added 32 penalty minutes in 51 games played with the Elmira this season. He will join the Jackals for game three of the ECHL Eastern Conference Quarter Finals against the Greenville Road Warriors set to take place tonight at 7:35 p.m.

Also today, the B-Sens have signed defenseman David Sloane to a professional try-out contract.

Sloane, 26, joins the B-Sens from Elmira where he registered one assist and 12 penalty minutes in 18 games played with the Jackals this season.

The 6-4, 220-pound defenseman appeared in 20 games last season with the Adirondack Phantoms, garnering an assist along with 23 penalty minutes. Sloane also skated five games with the ECHL's Kalamazoo Wings in 2009-2010, registering two assists.

A native of Ambler, P.A., Sloane played four seasons (2005-09) at Colgate University, collecting 23 points (ten goals, 13 assists) in 129 career games for the Raiders.

The B-Sens are back in action tonight as they travel to Rochester to take on the Amerks at 7:30 p.m. Fans can listen live on 680 WINR-AM or 1430 WENE-AM beginning 30 minutes before game time for Countdown to Faceoff with Grady Whittenburg, the voice of the B-Sens.
