LAST TIME OUT: The B-Mets were held to one run on five hits and were defeated by the Akron RubberDucks, 7-1, Sunday afternoon at Canal Park. Casey Delgado allowed four runs on four hits and struck out seven in 4.2 innings. Binghamton was swept for the third time this season and the second time by the RubberDucks in Akron. The B-Mets finish their season series with the RubberDucks having gone 1-8.

BINGHAMTON STARTER: RHP Mickey Jannis gets the start for the B-Mets, the first time in his career that he has faced the Flying Squirrels. Jannis is coming off of his two roughest starts of the season. He allowed a season-high seven earned runs in five innings on 5/11 at Reading and five earned runs on a season-high seven hits in 4.1 innings his last time out Tuesday against Altoona. Jannis' ERA has risen from 4.56 to 6.43 in his last two starts.

RICHMOND STARTER: RHP Kyle Crick will take the ball for the Flying Squirrels, his seventh start of the season. Crick has allowed at least two runs in every start and has not lasted more than 5.2 innings. He is making his third career start against Binghamton and his sixth appearance. Crick is 0-1 with a 2.38 ERA lifetime against the B-Mets. He also pitched an inning in relief in game one of the 2014 Eastern League Championship and allowed two runs on two hits with a walk three strikeouts. Binghamton won the game 5-2 and swept the series in three games.

HOME SWEET HOME: The B-Mets begin an eight-game homestand tonight after playing 17 of their past 23 games on the road. Binghamton is 8-9 at home and 9-15 on the road. The B-Mets are batting .244 as a team in home games against a .253 clip on the road. Dominic Smith (.338) is the only Binghamton batter hitting over .300 at NYSEG Stadium.

FRESH BLOOD: Binghamton faces Richmond for the first time in 2016 on Monday. The B-Mets went 4-5 and 1-1 at home against the Flying Squirrels in 2015. The four-game series is followed by a four-game set with Trenton, another team Binghamton has yet to face this year.

SOUR SIXTEEN: Binghamton's 7-1 loss at Akron on Sunday represented its third straight loss and the 13th in the past 16 games. The stretch includes a season-high eight game losing streak and the B-Mets have been outscored 93-52 in the 16 games. They have been shut out twice and held to one run five times. Richmond is 2-14 in its past 16 and has won two-straight after a 14-game losing streak.

WILD THING: Tonight's starter Mickey Jannis leads the B-Mets in walks (23) and hit batsmen (5).

AT THE HOT CORNER: Matt Oberste is making his seventh consecutive start at third base tonight. Before this stretch, Oberste had not played third since two games with Savannah (Low-A) in 2014.

NEXT GAME PREVIEW: The second game of the four-game series will begin at 6:35 P.M. on Tuesday. RHP Rainy Lara will start for Binghamton against Richmond's LHP Adalberto Mejia.
