LAST GAME: The B-Mets tossed their 11th shutout, beating New Britain, 3-0, Sunday afternoon at New Britain Stadium to salvage the final game of the series. LJ Mazzilli had four hits and two RBI in the return to his home state. Tyler Pill did it all for the B-Mets, tossing six shutout frames while also picking up three hits and an RBI. Paul Sewald notched his team-leading 20th save.

BINGHAMTON STARTER: RHP Seth Lugo is making his 20th start with Binghamton and third against Richmond. The righty has struggled in his first two outings against Richmond, allowing a combined 10 runs and 16 hits in 11.2 total innings. He lost both starts. More recently, Lugo allowed six runs in five innings against Altoona in his last start, earning a no-decision.

RICHMOND STARTER: LHP Matt Gage is making his sixth start with Richmond and first against Binghamton. He won his first two starts, but more recently is coming off a pair of losses. He allowed five runs in 5.1 innings against Bowie, striking out eight in the defeat. It's his second season in the minors and began with Augusta (Low-A). There, he went 4-4 with a 4.07 ERA in 15 starts.

VS. RICHMOND: This is Richmond's lone trip to NYSEG Stadium, coming at the 120th game of the season. It's also the final series between these two teams in the 2015 regular season. Binghamton has won three of the first

seven matchups, managing just one run or less in each of their last three losses. Richmond has made one trip to Binghamton every season since coming into existence (2010). The Flying Squirrels have never won the season series with Binghamton.

7/11: Binghamton is 7-2-2 in their last 11 series. The B-Mets are coming off a loss, having dropped two of three in New Britain.

MAKING THEM COUNT: Vince Belnome has three hits in his last 21 at-bats, but has still driven in a run in three of his last four games. Saturday was Belnome's first multi-hit game in his last nine games played.

RUBY TUESDAY: Binghamton is 15-3 on Tuesday's this season, their best record for any day of the week.

LEFTY: Binghamton will face a lefty starting pitcher in each of the first two games of the series. The B-Mets are coming off a series with New Britain where they faced two southpaws, including Sunday. Wednesday will end a stretch of six lefty starting pitchers against the B-Mets in their last 11 games played.

G0000MEZ: Gilbert Gomez has gone hitless in his last 11 games. He has not registered a hit since July 29th, going 0-for-15 in his last 11 games. He is 1-for-20 since July 19th. Gomez is 0-for-10 as a pinch-hitter.

2-FOR-1: Gavin Cecchini has registered multiple hits in 11 of his last 19 games. He is batting .366 since the All-Star break. He went 1-for-2 Sunday, drawing three walks for the second time this season.

HOMERS: The B-Met starting rotation has allowed 14 home runs in their last 28 games. Meanwhile, the bullpen has allowed five home runs since June 15th.

K-ROD: Josh Rodriguez is hitless in last 15 at-bats, with seven of them ending in strikeout. Rodriguez has still gotten on base, drawing eight walks and getting hit by a pitch over his last five games. He has not played since Tuesday.

3-K: A B-Met has struck out three times in each of their last four games, including Jonathan Galvez twice.

NEXT GAME PREVIEW: The B-Mets continue their series with Richmond Wednesday at 7:05 PM. RHP Robert Gsellman starts against LHP Matt Lujan.
