Aviators sign Paul Webster

November 2, 2005 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Ohio Aviators News Release

Canton, OH. The ABA Ohio Aviators professional basketball team today announced the signing of 6'3", 190lb shooting guard, Paul Webster of Bedford Hts, Ohio. Paul played his college ball at Cuyahoga Community College and Shaw University and has also played in Canada, Germany and Brazil.

"We at the Ohio Aviators are thrilled to have such a great player signed to our organization," stated owner Joe Lewandowski. "I will go out on a limb and say that Paul Webster will lead the ABA in steals and 3-D points; he is the type of guy that really reads passing lanes better than anyone I have ever seen; the second best is the Denver Nuggets Earl Boykins (who has also practiced with us). This will tell you what type of level this young man is on," added Head Coach Bryant Lewandowski. Paul will lead the Ohio Aviators in action as they tip off their regular season November 11th at the Lake Erie Rockers.
