Loves Park, ILLINOIS- The Rockford Aviators welcome the Southern Illinois Miners to Aviators Stadium for a three game weekend series August 21-23. The weekend will feature Military Appreciation Night, Princess and Superhero Night, and Family Day.
Friday, August 21st @ 7:05 p.m. - Military Appreciation Night
Game 1 of this weekend series begins at 7:05pm, with gates opening at 6:05pm. Join us at Aviators Stadium as we celebrate Military Appreciation Night. All veterans and active duty service members and their families will receive free tickets to the contest. Join us as we salute our men and women in uniform!
Saturday, August 22nd @ 7:05 p.m. - Princess and Superhero Night
The Aviators will host a Princess and Superhero Night Saturday. Gates will open at 6:05, and fans are encouraged to meet their favorite princesses, including Cinderella, Snow White, and Sleeping Beauty, and their favorit superheroes, including Bat Hero and Spider Hero. All princesses and super heroes will do a meet-and-greet and will be signing autographs. The Aviators will also be giving away superhero bobbleheads to the first 1,000 fans through the gate, in honor of our Princess and Superhero weekend theme. This will be our last bobblehead giveaway of the season, so be sure to purchase your ticket!
Sunday August 23rd @ 3:05 p.m. - Family Sunday
Bring the entire family out to Aviators Stadium for Family Day. Kids Club members with valid Kids Club ID Membership cards get in free and families with VIP Kids Club members can receive $2 off their tickets. Families can play catch on the field from 2:00-2:35pm, and following the conclusion of the contest, kids will be invited down to the field to run the bases.
