
Avalanche overcome early deficits

Salem overcame two early deficits en route to a 7-5 win over Potomac to win their sixth game in seven games.
Potomac led 1-0, and 3-1 through three innings before Salem broke through with a three-run fourth inning.
With runners at the corners and one out, C Lou Santangelo tripled to right-center field, scoring two to tie the score at 3-3. Santangelo, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI, would later score on RF Francisco Caraballo's RBI single.
Salem would add three runs in the sixth inning to lead 7-3.
The Avalanche and Potomac Nationals finish their series with a 12:07 PM matchup Monday Afternoon.
