Austin Toros to Host Military Appreciation Night

AUSTIN, TX March 11, 2014- The Austin Toros will host Military Appreciation Night presented by GovX and The Parking Spot on Saturday, March 15th at 7:30 p.m. as they take on the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. All active and retired military, their friends and family are invited to join the Toros at Cedar Park Center in a night of support for our troops.

The evening will include a performance of the national anthem by members of the 36th Infantry Division Band at Camp Mabry. The Toros will wear special edition camouflage jerseys, which will be auctioned off via live auction held on the court, immediately following the game. The proceeds will benefit the American Widow Project.

Prior to the Toros game, Ray Jackson's Rising Stars Academic Athletic Program will host the CenTex High School All-Star Game at 3:00 p.m. This special game will showcase standout Central Texas high school seniors.
