AUSTIN, TX - The Austin Spurs, presented by SWBC, announced today the team has acquired Anthony Beane, Oklahoma City Blue's 26th overall selection in today's NBA D-League Draft in exchange for the returning player rights of Bryce Cotton.
Beane (6-2, 172) earned First Team-All MVC and NABC First Team-All District honors last season as a senior at Southern Illinois University where he averaged 19.3 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game.
The Austin Spurs season opener is Sunday, Nov. 13 at 3:00 p.m. against the Oklahoma City Blue at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park. For ticket information, please visit austinspurs.com or call (512) 236-8333.
