AUSTIN SPURS OPEN THE 2017-18 SEASON AT HOME THIS WEEKEND
Team Hosts Back-to-Back Games at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park
Austin, TX (Nov. 2, 2017) - The Austin Spurs, presented by SWBC, open the 2017-18 NBA G League season at home this weekend at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park. Opening weekend in Cedar Park begins Friday, Nov. 3 at 7:30 p.m. when Austin hosts the Salt Lake City Stars, followed by a Veterans Appreciation game presented by ReBath of Austin and benefitting Trinity Oaks on Saturday, Nov. 4 vs. Texas Legends at 7 p.m.
Austin will wear camouflage jerseys on Saturday to honor veterans of each branch of the armed services. Fans can participate in a postgame live auction to purchase the jerseys, with all proceeds benefitting Trinity Oaks, a nonprofit that supports veterans.
Fans can take advantage of Thirsty Spurs Days on Friday with $2 beer and buy-one-get-one wings in Rojo's. Saturday tailgating begins at 4 p.m. Fans can enjoy music from Meagan Stewart, sample food from Moe's Southwest Grill and enter to win prizes courtesy of 93.3 KGSR.
