
Austin Spurs Obtain Returning Player Rights of Matt Farrell

AUSTIN, TX - The Austin Spurs, presented by SWBC, announced today the team has acquired the returning player rights of guard Matt Farrell in exchange for the returning player rights of Julian Washburn.
Farrell (6-1, 175) played in 45 games with the NBA G League Delaware Blue Coats during the 2018-19 season, averaging 10.7 points, 6.2 assists and 3.3 rebounds in 27.0 minutes. As a senior (2017-18) at Notre Dame, he averaged 16.3 points and 5.3 assists in 31 games and was named to the All-ACC Third Team.
Washburn spent three seasons with the Austin Spurs (2015-16, 2017-19). He received a Gatorade Call-Up during the 2018-19 season to the Memphis Grizzlies where he played in 18 games.
