Erie BayHawks Complete Trade with Stockton Kings

ERIE, PA - The Erie BayHawks, NBA G League affiliate of the New Orleans Pelicans, have completed a trade with the Stockton Kings, the team announced today. Erie has traded the returning player rights to Isaac Hamilton, in exchange for the returning player rights to Taren Sullivan. This trade is not subject to a physical.

Sullivan (6-6, 220) appeared in 47 games (16 starts) with the Kings this past season, averaging 6.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 19.1 minutes. The Lima, Ohio, native notched his sole double-double of the 2018-19 campaign with 21 points, a season-high 10 rebounds and a team-high three steals in 33 minutes against the Canton Charge on March 12.

A four-year standout for the University of Findlay, Sullivan played in 114 games (89 starts) for the Oilers, averaging 14.0 points on .510 shooting, 5.4 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.1 steals in 26.9 minutes. He scored in double figures in 28 of 31 games during his senior season, culminating in a 2018 NABC Coaches' Division II All-America team selection. Sullivan also garnered Great Midwest Athletic Conference Player of the Year honors and a GMAC All-First Team nod in his final season with Findlay.

After going undrafted out of UCLA in the 2017 NBA Draft, Hamilton (6-4, 185) spent the past two seasons with the Canton Charge, NBA G League affiliate of the Cleveland Cavaliers. In 73 career G League games (11 starts), he has averaged 5.3 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 14.5 minutes. Hamilton's returning player rights were acquired by the BayHawks during the 2019-20 NBA G League Expansion Draft on Wednesday, August 28.
