Augusta Lynx News Release
The Augusta Lynx added two faces to the family photo today, with the announcement that Bryan Elliott has joined the team in the position of senior marketing consultant and Donna Branch as director of community relations.
Hailing from Port Colborne, Ontario, Elliott spent the past two seasons with the Central Hockey League's Corpus Christi Rayz where he served as both assistant coach and vice president of operations with the team during his stint.
Elliott's other hockey experience includes having served as head coach of the Manheim (Germany) Juniors for three years, as an assistant coach for the Western Hockey League's Victoria Cougars and Wilfred-Laurier University, and spent three years with the Ontario Hockey League's London Knights where he worked as goaltending consultant and team scout.
On the non-hockey side of the coin, Elliott retired from the Canadian Armed Forces (Navy) after 23 years of service in the administrative and financial fields. He has also served as the director for Tourism of Welland Niagara (TOWN) and owns A&I Management, a firm that consults on large community festivals.
Prior to joining the Lynx, Branch was most recently employed as the Special Events Coordinator for the Morris Museum of Art and was the Director of Marketing and Education for the Augusta Symphony. Raised in Louisville, GA, she attended Augusta State University and Georgia State University where she studied opera performance. Following her studies and a brief career in opera, Donna moved to Thomson, GA to be close to her parents, Don & Christine Branch and her neice, Grace Ann, the daughter of Del and Bonnie Branch of Washington, GA. Donna is a member of the Junior League of Augusta, Historic Augusta, and Saint Paul's Episcopal Church.
