
Audi Field Announces International Friendly Between El Salvador and Bonaire

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Audi Field has today announced an international friendly between El Salvador and Bonaire on Wednesday, March 20 at 7 p.m. ET. Fans can purchase tickets HERE.
The match marks the third time that El Salvador have played at Audi Field and the first for Bonaire. El Salvador's debut match at Audi Field was on Nov. 5, 2021, a 1-0 loss against Bolivia. La Selecta's last match played at Audi Field was against Perú on Sept. 27, 2022, in a 4-1 loss. El Salvador is currently ranked 81st in the world, according to the FIFA world rankings, and will look to win its first game at Audi Field when they take on the island of Bonaire.
Bonaire, an island off the coast of Venezuela, has been a full member of Concacaf since 2014 and currently sits 32nd in the Concacaf rankings. The Caribbean nation's first ever match was a 2-1 win over the U.S. Virgin Islands on June 6, 2014, in the Caribbean Cup Qualification. Bonaire's most recent match was a 4-0 loss against St. Martin on Nov. 21, 2023, in the Concacaf Nations League. Bonaire most recently achieved promotion to League B of the Concacaf Nations League in November 2023.
