Providence, RI -- The Providence Bruins and Lowell Lock Monsters played Game 4 of their best-of-seven Atlantic Division Finals series on Friday night at the Dunkin' Donuts Center, with the Bruins taking a 3-1 series lead by winning in overtime, 3-2. The overtime game was the 17th in franchise playoff history, and the first since April 16, 2003, when the Manitoba Moose took a 2-1 overtime decision in double overtime of Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals. The overtime win was the Bruins' first since May 1, 2001, when Jeremy Brown scored the series-clinching goal in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals at Worcester (3-2). The Bruins are 11-6 all-time in Calder Cup Playoffs overtime games.

The Bruins and Lock Monsters play Game 5 at the Dunkin' Donuts Center Providence on Saturday night at 7:05 p.m. Tickets will be on sale at the Dunkin' Donuts Center box office beginning at 10:00 a.m. Tickets can also be purchased by calling the Bruins at (401) 273-5000. Fans attending the game will receive free noisemaker clappers, courtesy of the Bruins' Second Round Playoff Sponsors, Dunkin' Donuts, The Martone Group, National City Mortgage, Stanley Bostitch and Arden Engineering Constructors.

A Bruin victory on Saturday night would move the Black and Gold into the Eastern Conference Finals for the fourth time in franchise history. If the Bruins advance, they would face the Philadelphia Phantoms in the best-of-seven series.

Bruin center Keith Aucoin scored the winning goal at 9:22 of overtime, his third goal of the post-season, and second game-winner. Andy Hilbert and Brent Thompson had assists on the play. Aucoin, who also had an assist in the game, has 3-9-12 totals in 10 playoff games. He is tied with Hilbert (3-9-12) for the team scoring lead in the playoffs.

Providence right wing Pat Leahy tallied his third playoff goal at 19:26 of the first period, while center Brad Boyes notched his fifth of the post-season on a power play at 6:03 of the second period.

Providence goaltender Hannu Toivonen made 32 saves and is 7-3 the playoffs.
