All four division finals are in action tonight, and three teams have a chance to advance to the AHL's final four with wins at home... In Winnipeg, the Kilpatrick Trophy-winning Rochester Americans have their backs to the wall, facing a 3-1 North Division series deficit and the challenge of a Game 5 tonight (8:30 ET) at the MTS Centre, where the Moose have won seven in a row... Rochester was 23-4-4-6 in one-goal games during the regular season, but is 0-3 so far in this series... Derek Roy has scored four of the Amerks' nine goals in the four games against the Moose... Manitoba's Lee Goren leads the AHL with eight goals in nine playoff games, and has found the net in each of the Moose's five postseason home outings.

In the West Division, Chicago returns home with a 3-1 lead for Game 5 against Cincinnati tonight (8:30 ET)... The Mighty Ducks staved off elimination for the fourth time this spring with a 3-2 win on Wednesday night... Frederic Cassivi, a member of the Wolves' Calder Cup championship team in 2002, made 31 saves in Game 4 to help snap Chicago's six-game winning streak... Joffrey Lupul had a goal and an assist for Cincinnati, and now leads the league in playoff scoring with 12 points (3g, 9a)... Steve Maltais's goal for the Wolves on Wednesday was the 34th of his Calder Cup Playoff career.

Philadelphia can reach the conference finals for the first time since 1999 with a win over Wilkes-Barre/Scranton in tonight's Game 5 (7:05 ET)... The Phantoms are 5-0 at the Wachovia Center this postseason, outscoring the opposition 18-5 on the home ice of the NHL Flyers... Jon Sim and Mike Richards had a goal and an assist each in Wednesday's 5-3 Philly win... Colby Armstrong leads Wilkes-Barre with four goals this postseason after scoring three times in 24 playoff games in 2004... The Penguins have allowed the first goal in eight of their 10 playoff games.

Providence returns home for Game 4 (7:05 ET) with the lead in the Atlantic Division final after taking two of three in Lowell... Now the Lock Monsters have to return the favor at the Dunkin' Donuts Center, where they are 1-13-1 in their last 15 visits and 8-22-2 all-time (including playoffs)... Lowell's Cam Ward owned a 1.69 GAA on the road during the regular season, more than half a goal better than his home GAA (2.30)... Andy Hilbert, Patrice Bergeron, Keith Aucoin and Brad Boyes are each averaging at least a point per game in the postseason for the Bruins... Brent Thompson's goal in Game 3 was the second of his playoff career and first since 1996.

In action at the 2005 World Championships yesterday, 2002 AHL All-Star Rick DiPietro made 50 saves in the United States' 3-2 shootout loss to Czech Republic in the quarterfinals... 2005 Eddie Shore Award winner Niklas Kronwall had a goal and an assist as Sweden advanced to the semifinals with a 2-1 win over Switzerland.
