ROSEMONT, IL - Brad Larsen scored a power play goal with 3:47 remaining in the third period to break a 1-1 tie and help the Chicago Wolves eliminate the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks in five games in the West Division final with a 4-1 victory Friday at Allstate Arena.
Cory Larose had a goal and an assist for the Wolves, who outshot the Ducks 42-22 and advance to the Western Conference final against Manitoba.
Curtis Glencross scored the lone goal for the Ducks with a shorthanded tally in the second period.
Frederic Cassivi surrendered just two shots on 42 shots in the loss.
