Attack Unveil Two Possible 1st Round Schedules

The Owen Sound Attack is one point away (either an Attack point or Kitchener loss in any fashion) from clinching third spot in the Western Conference, however; a number of possible playoff scenarios have been drawn up.

If the playoffs were to start today, the Attack would square off against the 6th place Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds. The Greyhounds have three games remaining against Plymouth, Kitchener and London and sit two points up on the 7th place Sarnia Sting. Sarnia also has three games remaining, one against the Saginaw Spirit (who are locked in at 8th spot) and two against our very own Owen Sound Attack to close out the season.

Should the Attack drop all three remaining games and Kitchener win all of their remaining three games, the Attack would drop to 4th place and play the Guelph Storm in the opening round. Consequently, if the Greyhounds were to win out and Guelph were to lose all of their remaining games, the Attack would square off against the Storm in a 3rd vs. 6th matchup.

Math equations aside, two potential schedules have been drawn up for the first round of the OHL playoffs. One with the Sarnia Sting and one with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds. A potential schedule with the Guelph Storm has not yet been drawn up.

Tickets for the opening round of playoffs are available at the Attack Box Office. Season Ticket Holders are reminded that their tickets are held until 1:00pm the day prior to the scheduled home game.
