Attack Name Hancock Huron Tractor Player of the Week for OHL Season Week 3

The Owen Sound Attack has named centreman Kevin Hancock the Huron Tractor Supply Player of the Week for the third week of the Ontario Hockey League season.

Hancock, a native of Mississauga, Ontario, is playing his 5th season with the Owen Sound Attack and was recently named Assistant Captain to Nick Suzuki.

In the third week of the OHL season, the Attack faced a trio of teams. On Wednesday, Oct 3 the Bears faced the Sarnia Sting where Hancock managed 2 goals and one assist on the evening. Hancock's goals pushed the team towards their 2nd win of the season, 5-3 over Sarnia.

Hancock also earned first star honours in the Wednesday night game.

Although the Attack did not fare as well in their second game of the week against London, they redeemed themselves with a 4-2 win over Oshawa on Saturday night.

Hancock scored the insurance goal to take the final score to 4-2.

Sitting first on the team for points, Hancock has 4 goals and 3 assists in 8 games played.

The Attack will continue the 2018-19 OHL season tonight, Saturday Oct. 13 when they host the London Knights for their second match up of the season, a 7:30pm puck drop at the Harry Lumley Bayshore.
