Owen Sound Attack News Release
The Owen Sound Attack and Windsor Spitfires will continue their best of seven Rogers Western Conference Championship series tomorrow night at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre. The Attack lead the best of seven series three games to one and the Spitfires will be without the services of Zack Kassian who received a four game suspension for his match penalty that was assessed on April 21st.
The Attack will be looking to advance to their first ever OHL Championship series, while the Spitfires will be trying to avoid losing their first playoff series since 2008. Mississauga leads Niagara three games to one in the Rogers Eastern Conference OHL Finals. "We all know what's at stake here.", stated Attack Captain Garrett Wilson. "We are just going to continue to worry about what we have to do and leave the rest up to everybody else."
The Attack are 2-0 in the 2011 Playoffs in series clinching games, defeating London in game six after winning game five and defeating the Plymouth Whalers in game four.
Game time at the Bayshore is 7:00pm. Tickets for game five on Wednesday are available in person at the Attack Box Office in the front lobby of the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre or by calling (519) 371-7452. Season ticket holders are reminded that they have until 11:00am on Wednesday to claim their seats due to the facility being closed this past weekend.
