
Attack And Rotary Club Partner Up For Kids

Owen Sound Attack News Release
The Owen Sound Attack is pleased to announce that on Sunday, February 7th, 2010 they will be partnering with the Rotary Club of Owen Sound for the 1st ever Rotary Ball Hockey Day with the Attack.
The afternoon event will be running from 12pm-4pm in the parking lot of the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community and all funds raised will go to support Winterama For Kids.
Winterama and has been an annual event for decades. It began in Wiarton and was a fund raiser for the Children's Aids Society until last year. The Owen Sound Rotary Club is donating the proceeds raised from this event to the Pres Quil Youth Camp (owned by the Owen Sound Rotary Club and operated by the "Y").
Teams for this event can be made up of 6 or more people and the minimum entry fee is $600.00/team which is donated directly to the Pres Quil Youth Camp. The afternoon includes a one hour game with members of the Owen Sound Attack, hot dogs, hot chocolate, a team picture and more!
