Atom Jet Group Community Hero Program Is Back
September 24, 2019 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Brandon Wheat Kings News Release
Brandon, MB. - Atom Jet Group and its employees have always shared in the belief of team and community involvement.
Because of that, it should come as no surprise that Atom Jet Group is again celebrating local heroes that help to make western Manitoba a great place to live.
During each Brandon Wheat Kings regular season home game this season, Atom Jet Group will again be recognizing a deserving military, Fire, EMS, RCMP or Brandon Police Service family.
In addition to receiving tickets to a WHL game, the family will be recognized during the game as the "Atom-Jet Community Hero" of the game.
"Atom-Jet is honored to continue the Community Hero award in cooperation with the Brandon Wheat Kings," says Terry Dorratt, VP of Sales and Mfg. Operations at Atom Jet. "Our staff, management and owner believe it is important to contribute back in the community where we work, live and play."
"This award is important in recognizing the selfless contribution of the individuals that provide a such a great contribution to the Westman area," he went on to say.
In order to nominate a western Manitoba Community Hero, fans and families are encouraged to visit the Atom Jet Community Heroes page on the hockey club's official website, which can be found at www.wheatkings.com.

The Wheat Kings, who began the season by splitting a weekend series with the Winnipeg ICE, will be back in action Friday night when they kick off a home and home series with the visiting Moose Jaw Warriors.
Tickets to that game, as well as all 33 remaining regular season games are on sale now at the Keystone Centre box office, by calling (204) 726-3555 or online at keystonecentre.com
