
Atlanta's Hunter Assigned To Anaheim Arsenal; Memphis' Haddadi Re-Assigned To Dakota Wizards

NEW YORK, Feb. 17, 2009 - Atlanta Hawks rookie Othello Hunter was assigned to the Anaheim Arsenal, the Hawks' NBA Development League affiliate, while the Memphis Grizzlies today re-assigned Hamed Haddadi to their NBA D-League affiliate, the Dakota Wizards. NBA players have been assigned to the NBA D-League 24 times this season.
Hunter, a 6-8 forward from Ohio State, has played in 10 games this season for Atlanta, scoring six points and grabbing seven rebounds in 33 minutes. In 76 career games for the Buckeyes, Hunter averaged 7.8 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.3 blocks.
Haddadi, a 7-2 center from Iran, has played in four games for Memphis this season, scoring three points in 13 minutes. During his first assignment in Dakota (Nov. 25-Dec. 24), Haddadi averaged 6.0 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.55 blocks and 17.7 minutes in 11 games (seven starts).
Haddadi is expected to re-join the Wizards today and will be available for Dakota's game at Fort Wayne on Friday. Hunter is also expected to join his NBA D-League team today and will be available when the Arsenal host the Rio Grande Valley Vipers tomorrow.
