
Atlanta United Announces 2024 Preseason Schedule

ATLANTA - Atlanta United today announced the club's preseason schedule ahead of the 2024 MLS Regular Season. Atlanta will play five preseason matches before it kicks off the season Saturday, Feb. 24 at Columbus Crew (2:00 p.m., MLS Season Pass on Apple TV).
The 5-Stripes begin preseason Monday, Jan. 15 with the first open session to the media on Tuesday, Jan. 16 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Media interested in attending must RSVP to communications@atlutd.com.
Weather permitting, the club will train at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Training Ground in Marietta until their first preseason match against Birmingham Legion FC on Jan. 27 at Protective Stadium in Birmingham, Alabama. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m.
Atlanta will follow that up with a preseason match presented by Piedmont on Feb. 3 in Athens, Georgia at the Turner Sports Complex against USL Championship side Memphis 901 FC (3 p.m.). Presales for season ticket members will begin Thursday Jan. 18. If inventory remains, tickets will be released to the general public on Monday Jan. 22.
Both matches in Birmingham and Athens will be live streamed at www.atlutd.com/live and will be broadcast on Sports Radio 92-9 The Game.
Following that match, the club will travel to Tampa, Florida to continue preseason camp in the Sunshine State. The first of three preseason matches in Florida will be played on Feb. 7 against CF Montréal at Al Lang Stadium. The team's next match will be on Feb. 10 against the Tampa Bay Rowdies, also at Al Lang Stadium.
Live streaming for the two contests in Tampa will be determined at a later date. Media members looking to cover any of the four matches need to contact the Atlanta United Communications staff at communications@atlutd.com.
The following day, Atlanta will travel to Fort Lauderdale for the final week of its Florida preseason trip. The team will face Sporting KC in a closed scrimmage on Feb. 17 (11 a.m.) at Barry University before returning to Atlanta.
