Atlanta United 2 News Release
ATLANTA - Atlanta United 2 today announced it has signed goalkeeper Gabriel Rosario.
"Gabe has a good level of experience in the professional environment despite his young age," said ATL UTD 2 head coach Stephen Glass. "He is excited to come to Atlanta which is close to his hometown and it should help him settle and give him the best opportunity to develop."
Rosario, 20, came up through the Carolina Rapids Academy and moved to England to join Reading FC's Academy in 2016. Following a two-year scholarship with Reading, he signed with Huddersfield Town after a successful trial in July 2018. Rosario was called into a U.S. U-18 National Team camp in July 2017.
He is the son of former player Robert Rosario, who was a forward for Norwich City, Coventry City and Nottingham Forest.
