Chicago Wolves News Release

The Atlanta Thrashers have recalled forward BEN MAXWELL from the Chicago Wolves.

MAXWELL tallied an assist in Chicago ‚¬â„¢s 3-2 shootout win over Peoria on Wednesday. He has posted one assist in two games with the Wolves since Atlanta acquired him, along with a fourth round selection in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, from Montreal in exchange for defenseman BRENT SOPEL and forward NIGEL DAWES on Feb. 24.

The 22-year-old forward has notched 41 points (11G, 30A) in 49 American Hockey League games with the Hamilton Bulldogs and Wolves this season. His 30 assists rank fourth on Chicago while his 49 points hold fifth.
