
Arnold shuts down Bulls

SkyChiefs starter Jason Arnold pitched six scoreless innings giving up just two hits and striking out five leading the SkyChiefs to a 1-0 Spring Training victory over the Durham Bulls in Dunedin, Florida Thursday.
Scott Cassidy relieved Arnold in the seventh and pitched two perfect innings striking out one and Mark Lukasiewicz earned the save striking out three Bulls in the ninth.
The SkyChiefs lone run came in the third inning when Jorge Sequea doubled and scored on a single by Russ Adams. Gabe Gross and Jose Umbria had the only other two SkyChiefs hits, both singles
The SkyChiefs (8-4-1) play their final Spring Training game tomorrow against Scranton/Wilkes-Barre at the Blue Jays Complex in Dunedin, Florida.
