Armor Make Several Community Appearances

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Several members of the Springfield Armor, presented by MGM Springfield, including head coach Doug Overton, made numerous appearances in the local community last week. Below is a photo/video recap.
Armor players Adonis Thomas, L.D. Williams, Bruce Massey, Dennis Horner, Quinn McDowell, Darius Johnson-Odom, Larry Anderson, Jeff Foote and Lance Hurdle participated in youth basketball clinics, after school programs, intramural basketball programs and speaking engagements this past week in the Greater Springfield area.
The Armor will travel to Maine to take on the Red Claws on Friday, February 7 at 7:00 p.m. before returning home Saturday, February 8 for a 7:00 p.m. tilt with the Canton Charge on Health & Safety Night at the MassMutual Center. Springfield will wear special Police and Firefighter tribute jerseys on Saturday to be auctioned off during the game with the proceeds benefitting Open Pantry Teen Parent Program. Along with the auction that will include other Armor memorabilia as well as donations from local businesses, there will also be retina scans, bike helmet fitting, child ID kits and much more for the whole family!
