66ers Announce Second Thunder Field Trip Day

OKLAHOMA CITY, February 4, 2014 - The Tulsa 66ers announced Tuesday that their March 11 matchup against the Los Angeles D-Fenders will be moved to Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City for an 11 a.m. tipoff. The site change will allow local schools and students to attend a second Thunder Field Trip Day.
The Thunder and 66ers sold over 12,000 tickets to 217 schools throughout the state to this morning's contest between the 66ers and Iowa Energy in Oklahoma City. Due to inclement weather and school closings, a majority of the school groups were unable to attend. The 66ers welcomed over 1,000 fans to the game, as Tulsa was defeated by the Energy, 114-106.
Tickets to today's game that were unable to be used will be honored at the March 11 contest.
Fans can purchase tickets to the game for $7 in advance by calling (405) 208-HOOP (4667). Tickets will also be available at the Thunder box office the morning of the game for $12.
