
Arkansas leaves Bakersfield winless

Bakersfield, CA., November 29 -The Arkansas RimRockers came out ready to fight in the second half posting a 102-91 victory over the Bakersfield Jam Wednesday in NBA Development League action at the Rabobank Arena. Center Marcus Campbell and forward Olu Famutimi teamed up to produce 21 points in the last half and a victory for the RimRockets after being down by as many as 13 points in the third quarter.
"We made sure there were no open looks or easy passes in the second half," said RimRockers assistant coach Pat Bradley. "We did a better job of putting pressure on the ball."
Center Clay Tucker led the RimRockers with 28 points and four rebounds. Arkansas amassed a 6 point lead with a little over 2 minutes left in the third quarter.
"We played well for three and a half quarters, hit a wall and fell apart," said Jam head coach Jim Harrick. "They were quick and athletic and our defense just wasn't good enough."
The Bakersfield Jam was led by Kevinn Pinkney with 27 points and 4 rebounds. Forward Mike Dean and center Brandon Bowman also contributed 12 points each.
