SNEAKING A PEEK: Interested parties checking in on the LA D-Fenders-Bakersfield Jam game at STAPLES Center Tuesday included players from the Lakers and Bucks, including Kobe Bryant, Lakers ownership Jerry, Jim and Jeanie Buss, Lakers coach Phil Jackson and Clippers VP of basketball operations Elgin Baylor.
POWER RANKINGS: The defending champion Albuquerque Thunderbirds (3-0) remained in the top spot in this week's D-League Power rankings. The LA D-Fenders climbed from ninth to second on the strength of a 3-0 start. Click on D-LEAGUE.com to check out the remainder of the league rankings.
SO CAL FIRSTS: The Los Angeles D-Fenders recorded their first home victory in team history by defeating the Bakersfield Jam at STAPLES Center on Tuesday. The Anaheim Arsenal recorded both its first victory and first home win in team history by defeating Arkansas at the Arena at Anaheim Convention Center.
ASSIGNMENT, FORT WORTH: The Philadelphia 76ers assigned rookie forward Bobby Jones and second-year guard Louis Williams to the Fort Worth Flyers on Tuesday. Jones and Williams join Charlotte Bobcats' assignee Ryan Hollins on the Flyers roster.

- Lawrence Roberts (Arkansas) scored 16 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 25 minutes for Memphis.
- Rafer Alston (Idaho) had 13 points and 7 assists in 38 minutes for Houston.
- Chuck Hayes (Albuquerque) collected 11 rebounds in 29 minutes for the Rockets.
- Smush Parker (Idaho) hit 6-of-9 FGA and scored 14 points for the Lakers.
- Ersan Ilyasova (Tulsa) had 9 points and 5 boards in 27 minutes for the Bucks.
