Arizona Sundogs News Release
PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ - The Arizona Sundogs return home to kick off their season-long, 10-game home stand with a trio of games against the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees. Games one and two will be this weekend between the Sundogs and Bees with fifth place in the CHL's Berry Conference on the line.

Wednesday at Rapid City, 4-2 Loss
Arizona took it down to the wire behind a pair of goals from Kyle Hood to trail 3-2 in the game's final minutes, but Jesse Schultz closed the door for Rapid City after scoring an empty-net goal with 36 seconds left to play. Craig Macdonald finished with two assists in the game for the Sundogs.
Thursday at Rapid City, 6-2 Loss
Jesse Schlutz and former Sundog, Konrad Reeder, each scored a pair of goals to propel the Rapid City Rush to a 6-2 win on Saturday night. It was Rapid City's fourth win in four meetings this season against Arizona. Luke Erickson and Samson Mahbod each scored for Arizona.

Friday and Saturday's contests are part of three straight games between the Sundogs and the Killer Bees with major standing's implications. Rio Grande Valley currently holds a four-point lead over the Sundogs for fifth place in the CHL's Berry Conference with six standings points on the line in the three-game set. Luke Erickson's goal on Saturday at Rapid City was the 100th of his pro career.
