Allen's Bruce Graham Named Oakley CHL Player of the Week

GLENDALE, AZ (December 26, 2011) -The Central Hockey League announced today that Allen's Bruce Graham has been named the Oakley Central Hockey League Player of the Week for the period ending December 25, 2011.

The two-time CHL All-Star had goals in each of the Americans two games last week helping his team earn three of a possible four points. For the week, the Moncton, British Columbia native had two goals and two assists with a +4 plus/minus rating in two games played.
In Wednesday's shootout loss to the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees, the 6-6, 235-pound forward scored the game-tying goal with less than 90 seconds remaining in the final period helping earn the point for his team. He also was tied for the game-high with five shots on goal. In Friday night's rematch with the Bees, Graham's goal helped break the game open giving his team a 5-2 lead early in the third period (Allen would win the game 7-3). He also had two second period assists including assisting on the game winning goal.
On the season, Graham is tied for third in the league with 35 points (14-21=35) and a +11 plus/minus rating.
Allen headed into the Christmas break with a league best 37 points and a 16-5-5 record.
