Arizona Rattlers News Release
Phoenix, Ariz. - The Arizona Rattlers' Sidewinders dance team proudly announced their 14-member team for the 2019 season. Six members return from last year's team.
The audition process for the dancers included two full days of routines, with multiple cuts throughout the process. The candidates underwent an interview process and two additional days of practice-style rehearsals. The directors were very impressed with the talent that showed up for the auditions.
"This group of dancers that came to showcase their skills this year were amazing," said the Assistant Director, Shelby Regier. "They are not only very talented performers, but great individuals. We are so excited to have this team represent the organization moving forward!"
The six returning dancers are Abby, Annie, Ashalee, Charlotte, Jacqui, and Stephanie. The eight new performers are Alexa, Chayle, Emily, Izzy, Jade, Lexi, Megan, and Paige.
"We are looking forward to the entertainment this team is going to provide to the fans," said Sidewinders Director, Oscar Hernandez.
While the Sidewinders are known for entertaining fans during Arizona Rattlers games, they are also known for consistently giving back to the community and attending charity events throughout the year.
"The Sidewinders are always so happy to be interacting with our fans and supporting great causes and organizations in the Valley," Regier stated.
