
Argos WR Derel Walker Named a CFL Top Performer for Week 12

TORONTO - The Canadian Football League announced today that Argos receiver Derel Walker has been named a CFL Top Performer for Week 12.
Walker, 28, caught nine passes for 203 yards and two touchdowns in a 38-27 loss to the Hamilton Tiger Cats in the Labour Day Classic on Monday afternoon. Toronto's first play from scrimmage saw QB McLeod Bethel-Thompson air one out for Walker who ran under it and took it the rest of the way, 96-yards for a score. The pair would hook up eight more times throughout the game including a 24-yard touchdown catch in the second quarter. The Texas A&M product currently sits fourth in the league in receiving yards (807), sixth in receptions (47) and tied for second in touchdown receptions (5).
Hamilton's Dane Evans and Bralon Addison were also named CFL Top Performers for Week 12 (first and second respectively).
