SPOKANE, Wash. - Cal Raleigh batted 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI as the Everett AquaSox snapped a three-game losing streak with a 4-3 win over the Spokane Indians at Avista Stadium before a crowd of 6,869. The North Division first half champion AquaSox improved to 30-28 overall and 10-10 in the second half.
The AquaSox grabbed a 2-0 lead in the top of the first with three straight hits including an RBI double by Raleigh that scored Josh Stowers. Raleigh's RBI single in the third scored Ryan Ramiz to make it 3-0.
Spokane scored twice to tie the game at 3-3 in the fourth inning thanks to three straight hits, including a bad hop RBI single by Tanner Gardner.
Penn Murfee (2-2) worked two scoreless and hitless innings in relief for the win. The AquaSox defense turned four double plays.
Ryne Ogren broke a 3-3 tie with two outs in the eighth inning with a solo home run against Austin Pettibone (0-1).
Dayeison Arias worked a perfect ninth-inning and struck out two for his first save.
