
AquaSox Lose Rubber Game in Tri-City

PASCO, Wash. - Carlos Luis had two hits and two RBI, as the Tri-City Dust Devils scored a single game season-high in runs in an 11-1 win over the Everett AquaSox on Sunday at Gesa Stadium before a crowd of 2,124. The Dust Devils won the series two games to one.
Tri-City scored in six different innings in the victory, including the sixth, putting up up four runs, including a two-run single by Luis.
Tom Colletti (2-2) got the win in relief going three innings. He allowed a run on two hits. He walked four and struck out two.
AquaSox starter Tim Elliott (0-1) took the loss, lasting just 2/3 of an inning while allowing four runs, which were all unearned. He walked four and struck out one.
AquaSox pitchers issued 11 walks while the defense committed a season high six errors, which was one shy of a franchise record. Nine of Tri-City's 11 runs were unearned.
