AquaSox Introduce "Campos Court"
August 19, 2011 - Northwest League (NWL1)
Everett AquaSox News Release
EVERETT, Wash. -- To recognize the stellar season that young right-hander Jose Campos had at Everett Memorial Stadium this season, the AquaSox are turning Section A of the Upper Box in to "Campos Court" on Thursday, August 25.
Fans who buy tickets for "Campos Court" will receive a special edition "K" sign featuring Campos' likeness and autograph. Those seated in "Campos Court" will raise the "K" sign every time Campos gets to two strikes in a count during his final home start. Also, each fan in the section will be entered in drawings for Campos-related prizes given away throughout the game.
"Campos Court" pays homage to former Frog Felix Hernandez, who like Campos hails from Venezuela and made an impact in the Northwest League as a teenager. The night is also meant to recognize the Mariners' "King's Court" promotion as one of the most inventive Seattle sports promotions in recent memory.
For more information about "Campos Court" or any of the games during the final homestand, the public is invited to visit the AquaSox stadium store at 3802 Broadway in Everett, call (425) 258-3673 or log onto aquasox.com.
