Hickory, NC- The Crawdads won their fourth straight game on Friday night as they took down the Winston-Salem Dash 4-3.
The Crawdads jumped ahead 3-0 in the sixth inning. Alejandro Osuna and Thomas Saggese singled to get two men on. Angel Aponte drove his fourth homerun of the season to left-center to score three.
Winston-Salem cut into the lead with two runs in the eighth inning.
Angel Aponte hit his second homer of the night in the bottom of the eighth to make it 4-2.
Tekoah Roby started the game for the 'Dads, tossing 5 shutout innings. He struck out 8 and allowed four hits while walking one.
Tomorrow night is the final Llamas de Hickory Night of the season thanks to Centro Latino. The first 1,000 fans will receive a llama gnome courtesy of UNC Health Blue Ridge and Big Dawg 92.1.
